What I did not admit for a long time was that, although I now believed a good marriage was possible with God, I still did not desire one.

We have to own the reality that churches have lost many great people on staff and teams because of unhealthy cultures and bad communication. But I believe there is hope. The Holy Spirit can heal, rebuild, and restore if we let Him.

The Bible became my guide and inspiration for good success, kindness and purposed living. I learned spiritual as well as practical lessons for life, business, relationships and ministry. I broke out of my previously negative mindset and learned that I could have “the mind of Christ” (1 Corinthians 2:16). I also searched out mentors and learned from them over many lunches. I invested a lot of time into learning and began to make courageous moves forward in developing my skills
